I am from Greece and I can tell you that they are very beatifu! The weather is always good, always sunny and the beaches are great for swimming! If you go to have a great time as long as you enjoy the sun and svømning.plus Greek kebab is amazing!
I was lucky to go to Rhodes, Greece when I was in the Navy. The old town was fantastic, the beaches were awesome, the weather was fantastic. Greece is one of the few ports I went to that I definitely would love to come back as a holiday.
Yes I’ve been to many Greek islands. I love the Ionian Sea islands, Corfu, Lefkada, Ithaki, Paxoi – Zakynthos – Kefalonia. Sea water is incredibly clear seafood is delicious people are very nice. I’ve also been in the Sporades islands (Skiathos – Skopelos – Alonissos) with easy and fast to earn Volos. The nature of these isalnds is fantastic – green and blue colors everywhere. Also Samothrace is unique. Thasos is very nice too, but I prefer Samothrace. Crete and Rhodes is fantastic – so special – so many different things to see and do – very cosmopolital actually. Then Santorini, Amorgos, Paros, Antiparos islands very tourist, but wonderful! I stuff everywhere, you will see something unique and beautiful! Sea in the Aegean and Ionian seas is amazing!
The Greek islands are extreemly beautiful. I now live in Zante, I moved here 6 months ago, but has been visiting Alykanas in 8 years. One reason to come to Zante is a beautiful lake. It is genuinly Azure and great to swim and snorkel in. The water around the Blue caves are the best I’ve ever swam in, and I’ve been to many countries. You can find photos on www. shortieweb. com
My sister went to Rhodes for a few years ago. She said it was so good that she would take me a while to see it. I also know others who went there too, and have done good reviews on stedet. Her are a little more info: http://en. wikipedia. org / wiki / Rhodes
I’ve been on Kos and yes it was smukt.Vejret was sunny and warm every day, it was lively nightlife and places to relax af.Farvandet coast was light turquiouse, you can watch the fish swimming around with a snorkel out! Much to do but also very relaxing. We went on a ferry for a day trip to Turkey, see Turkish coast from the beach spring. Only took about half an hour and had a great day ud.Gik also into a mountain on a Greek night, it was fantastic! Definitely go there, it’s great! x
I grew up on the Greek island of Crete, and let me tell you it’s beautiful there! The water is crystal clear, the food is good, alcohol is cheap and people are soooo friendly! The uniqueness of Crete (except that it is the largest island in the Greek islands) is that it offers all kinds of beach, you can visit: dark blue Mediterranean beaches with coral reefs, white sand clear water beaches, warm water, cold water, lakes, rivers, Whitewater, warm water, palm beaches, sunken wrecks, which you can explore by diving. . . plus their is a wealth of small islands off the coast of Crete, which you can take some farry and spend the day there, I hope you decide to visit either Crete and other islands in Greece. . . you will never regret it I promise! ps: they have tons of 5-star restaurants on the island. . PPS: If clubbing is your thing (because the island is so large) Crete alos have hundreds of outdoor clubs on the beach that are open all night every night. . .
Greece is fair. . . magic. . . It is my favorite holiday destination, I go back every year to visit different islands, and I will not stop until I see them all. . . because they are unique. . . In the winter I go years in different countries, but when summer comes I’m on the road to a Greek island. . . Summer, Crete on the list. . . I want you to have a good time if you go. . . Regards. . .
